KeNHA has warned of impending traffic because of a flooded section of Lunga Lunga – Ukunda highway

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has warned of impending traffic on the Lunga Lunga – Ukunda highway after a section of it flooded.

KeNHA, in a statement released on Sunday, sought to alert motorists plying the route that a section of the highway at Marenje is temporarily impassable.

“This has been occasioned by the ongoing heavy rains and construction works for a new box culvert,” said the authority.

“Motorists are advised to exercise caution and try alternative routes including the Vanga – Shimoni road.”
