Lost Driving Licence<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

First you need to report the loss to the area police station DOWNLOAD ABSTRACT FORM<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Application for Duplicate Driving Licence is now on TIMS, available on the NTSA website. The National Transport and Safety Authority has replaced the old driving licence with the new Smart DL for purposes of issuing duplicate driving licences.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to apply<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Step 1<\/h3>\n

Go to<\/span> www.ntsa.go.ke<\/a><\/span> and click on TIMS Logo<\/span><\/p>\n

Click on SUBSCRIBE SMS (Allows you to receive messages in regards to the process).<\/span><\/p>\n

After subscribing to receive SMS, click on REGISTER ACCOUNT, enter National Identification SERIAL Number, KRA PIN number, one of your MOTHER\u2019S NAMES. Your password will be sent to the mobile phone number you have provided. Enter all necessary information and immediately change your password. Protect your personal information, DO NOT disclose your password to anyone. NTSA shall not be liable for any transaction within your account.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2<\/span><\/h3>\n

After successfully registering the account on TIMS, present yourself to any of the following NTSA offices; Mombasa (Imaara Building), Nairobi \u2013 (Likoni Road Inspection Center), Nakuru (Inspection Center) and Nyeri (Regional Commissioner\u2019s Complex) for personalization and processing of the Smart Driving Licence at a cost of Ksh. 3,050 with a validity period of THREE years.<\/span><\/p>\n
