Porsche confirmed that it informed the authorities after internal investigations uncovered suspected irregularities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: 12pt\">Porsche, famous for its high-prices sports cars, didn\u2019t escape the diesel-engine scrutiny in the past. German prosecutors fined Porsche $632 million last year due to issues with their diesel emissions testing, but the sports car maker hasn\u2019t been charged with anything on the gasoline side of the testing yet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: 12pt\">The issues relate to vehicles developed several years ago, according to multiple reports, and that post-2017 models are not part of the investigation.
