{"id":6929,"date":"2021-01-01T18:54:50","date_gmt":"2021-01-01T15:54:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.magaripoa.com\/?p=6929"},"modified":"2021-01-01T18:54:50","modified_gmt":"2021-01-01T15:54:50","slug":"saloon-car-and-a-motorbike-collided-killing-2-on-the-oyugis-kendu-bay-road-in-homa-bay","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.magaripoa.com\/gari\/saloon-car-and-a-motorbike-collided-killing-2-on-the-oyugis-kendu-bay-road-in-homa-bay\/","title":{"rendered":"Saloon car and a motorbike collided killing 2 on the Oyugis- Kendu Bay road in Homa Bay"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Two people were killed in a road accident after a saloon car and a motorbike collided on the Oyugis- Kendu Bay road in Homa Bay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">The accident which claimed the lives of a bodaboda rider and his passenger occurred at about 9pm near Kosele Secondary School in North Kamagak Location.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">According to the area chief Benson Midigo, the saloon car and the motorbike were headed towards Kendu Bay Town from Oyugis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Mr. Midigo said the rider stopped beside the road near the school to repair the headlight.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">The vehicle which was speeding is said to have lost control and veered off the road hitting the rider and his passenger.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">The administrator stated that the two sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Matata Hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">They died while receiving treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">The bodies were moved to the hospital mortuary and the vehicle was towed to Oyugis Police Station for further investigations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two people were killed in a road accident after a saloon car and a motorbike collided on the Oyugis- Kendu Bay road in Homa Bay.
