{"id":6967,"date":"2024-11-25T05:39:33","date_gmt":"2024-11-25T02:39:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.magaripoa.com\/?p=6967"},"modified":"2024-11-25T05:39:33","modified_gmt":"2024-11-25T02:39:33","slug":"justice-njoki-ndungus-driver-attacked-robbed-of-official-car-at-gunpoint","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.magaripoa.com\/gari\/justice-njoki-ndungus-driver-attacked-robbed-of-official-car-at-gunpoint\/","title":{"rendered":"Justice Njoki Ndung\u2019u&#8217;s driver attacked, robbed of official car at gunpoint"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: 12pt\">A driver to Supreme Court Judge Njoki Ndung\u2019u was attacked and robbed of one of her official cars in Nairobi on Friday night.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: 12pt\">Police and witnesses said Justice Ndungu was not on board at the time of the incident at Githurai Mwihoko area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: 12pt\">The driver identified as Stephen Thuku was not injured in the drama.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: 12pt\">Thuku told police he was driving the Toyota Landcruiser Prado at about 7.30 pm when he was blocked by another car.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: 12pt\">Three men who had pistols jumped into the four wheel drive car belonging to the judge and bundled the driver onto the back seat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: 12pt\">The driver said the gunmen took control of the car and drove around the city up to Kayole before they abandoned him at Kibiku area in Ngong.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: 12pt\">He said he lost Ksh. 110,000.
