Two people, a motorcyclist and his pillion passenger were fatally injured along Nairobi\u2019s Southern Bypass in an accident believed to have been caused by a drunk driver on Thursday evening.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The drunk driver, reported to be the \u00a0son of a senior police officer, was whisked away from the scene of the accident alongside two female passengers on board the double cabin pick up truck.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Efforts by Citizen TV to get information on the accident were futile with the police remaining unyielding all day.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Neither the wreckage of the car last seen at the scene of accident nor a police report on the accident was available at Lang\u2019ata Police Station, in whose jurisdiction the accident happened.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The family of the late late bodaboda rider has identified him as Stephen Musyoka from Mwingi, Kitui County, who operated in the city.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The pillion passenger whose body is at City mortuary is yet to be identified.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The National Police Service remains mum on the incident.<\/span><\/p>\n
