Car mods are common among motorists all over the world mostly aimed at enhancing aesthetic value or a statement of the owner’s character.

Others such as bull bars serve a more practical purpose. Some motorists ha gone overboard and bolted outrageous paraphernalia for unknown reasons. 

Many of these modifications have caught the public eye and elicited sustained debates on social media.

Spade

Some motorists also prefer to use spades in the name of beautifying their vehicles.

In most instances, the spades are usually attached to the boot.

These spades are most common in the Probox and Wish models.

A couple of Noahs also have these funny mods.

Ladder

Another common feature in vehicles is small feeble ladders that are often attached to the top of a vehicle.

While ladders are common in buses to ease access to the roof carriers, they serve no purpose at all in small vehicles such as a Probox.

Tennis Balls

Common on tourist vehicles you may have noticed tennis balls attached to the radio antenna.

They are used to prevent the antennas from tapping against the car body.

Without the ball, contact between the antenna and the of the car result to irritating noise and small scratches on the paint work.

Wide Tyres

Offset tyres are also common features motorists are adding to their vehicles nowadays. They are bizarre given the odd look it gives the car.

Some believe it gives the car stability but it’s a false notion, anything deviating from manufacturer specification will only get you trouble or even interfere with the safety of the car.
