KBC anchor was trying to avoid an oncoming lorry when she rolled down the cliff at Makuyu @kenyanTraffic

Celebrated news anchor Gladys Mungai was  involved in an accident while on her way to cover a meeting called by President Uhuru Kenyatta at Sagana State Lodge.

The incident occurred at the Makuyu area when the anchor was trying to avoid an oncoming lorry.

The KBC anchor, who was driving hit barriers on the road, and the car rolled down a cliff.

Bystanders came to her rescue, pulled her out of the vehicle. She was taken to hospital by a family member who arrived at the scene. She received treatment and was later discharged.

After being discharged, the anchor proceeded to Sagana to cover the meeting.

President Kenyatta is currently on day two of the 4-day meeting at the Sagana State Lodge with Mt Kenya leaders.
