A boy who was to join form one on Monday died on the spot after the motorbike he was riding on was involved in a head-on collision with another motorbike at Ogilo trading centre, along Kadongo-Mawego road in Rachuonyo East Sub County.
The 16-year-old boy, Richard Odhiambo Ogutu who hails from Ramba Location sat for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) at Kauma Primary School, and was carrying his two colleagues when his bike collided with an oncoming motor bike from the opposite direction.
According to the Chief of Ramba Location Joseph Ndege, the deceased who was carrying his two colleagues on the motorbike, tried to negotiate a corner but unfortunately it was too late.
