Radio Jambo presenter Ghost Mulee was rushed to the Aga Khan hospital on Friday morning, October 16, after he was involved in an accident along Waiyaki Way.
Kiss FM presenter Felix Odiwuor known to many as Jalang’o broke the news during a morning show on the station.
He stated that the renowned presenter wanted to make the turn into Brookside drive when a public service vehicle rammed his car.
“There were many people at the scene but I managed to take Ghost to the hospital where he has been admitted and that is why I was late to work,” Jalang’o stated.
Mulee was headed to work at Lion place building along Waiyaki way in Westlands, for his morning show, when the unfortunate incident took place.
He has been discharged from the Aga Khan hospital, where he was taken, after he was involved in an accident.
Mulee took to his social media pages to appreciate friends and fans who had wished him a quick recovery.
“I’ve done tests after today’s accident and I’ve been cleared by the doctors at Aga Khan, I take this opportunity to thank everyone who wished me a quick recovery. God is good all the time,” Mulee stated.
The radio presenter and his co-host Gidi Gidi have managed to keep their audience glued to the station with a segment on the morning show known as Patanisho, which airs every Monday to Friday from 6a.m. to 10a.m.
Mulee is also one of the most decorated Kenyan coaches to date at club and national team level, winning three Kenya Premier League titles during a 10-year stint with Tusker FC besides making history as the first tactician to lead Harambee Stars to victory at the CAF Africa Cup of Nations
Road accidents have been on the rise in the last couple of weeks with Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai indicating that some drivers were flaunting basic safety requirements.
