Have you changed your vehicles engine or colour or use etc?
These are the steps to make it official on logbook and NTSA system.
ON YOUR TIMS ACCOUNT
1-Book for CHANGE OF PARTICULAR INSPECTION @Ksh 1050.
2-Chose a date and centre where you’ll take the vehicle for physical inspection.
(-if for Engine change, obtain a TAPE-LIFT REPORT from the dci police department, also it’s wise to have all the documentation for the new engine ie. receipts and importation documents.)
3- On the chosen date, take the vehicle for the physical inspection to the centre that you chose earlier.
4- If inspection is successful (there is posibility for failing), Login back to your tims account and confirm that the item for change is correct, if not correct, REJECT the report, if correct go ahead and pay for new logbook print. cost will depend on the number of items changed.
5- Wait for the new logbook with the updated information to be processed.(3-6 weeks)
6- When completed, surrender the old logbook for the new logbook at NTSA offices.
NOTE: Make sure the new logbook is COLLECTED ON THE SYSTEM before leaving the offices.
