Mercedes not so expensive after all, only dont compare apples with oranges

It is all relative. Mercedes Benz is “so expensive” when compared to the average Toyotas and Hondas because the brand MB isn’t geared towards regular consumers within a budget.

• 2017 Honda Accord and the 2017 Toyota Camry. Those are two similarly priced sedans over which the MB’s CLA is priced.

Mercedes Benz is similarly priced to Marques like BMW, Audi & Jaguar in all their respective model line-ups in the market as that’s the level these cars are engineered to. That’s the luxury market they vie for.

• The similarly priced entry level luxury sedans of 2016 from MB (C-Class), BMW (3-Series), Audi (A4) and Jaguar (XE).

Mercedes Benz vehicles are cheaper than the marques like the Rolls-Royce & Bentley in the luxury sedan market space. That’s where their (MB’s) Maybach Division comes in.

Mercedes Benz vehicles are a lot cheaper than super car manufacturers like Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin and such. (>300,000$ Supercars).
