Police have launched a manhunt for a driver who took off after crashing a bus full of passengers in Gilgil, Nakuru on Friday evening.
Gilgil Deputy Subcounty Police Commander Henry Mbogo detailed that the bus had 30 occupants.
It was reported that 13 passengers sustained injuries with no deaths. The 13 were rushed to Gilgil Subcounty Hospital.
Mbogo disclosed that the 30 occupants involved in the incident included children who were traveling back to Thika from a burial in Kangui, Ol Joro Orok, Nyandarua county.
Passengers accused the driver of speeding and failing to observe other traffic rules. The vehicle was towed to Gilgil police station.
